Get Involved

Many of our volunteers have been with BAC for years. Why? Because everyday artists, neighbors, and people from across the country and around the world come to BAC. They have carved time out of their day to stop and savor art.

We need volunteers to help those visitors, help with mailings, answer the phones, label new work, dust the shelves, and assist with events and programs. When you’re part of our team, you’re always learning something new while you are contributing to your community too.

If you are interested in showing your work at Bainbridge Arts and Crafts, the first thing to do is visit the gallery!  Come a few times so that you can see the mediums and styles of art that we exhibit. If you think your work would fit well, please submit a portfolio for consideration by emailing submissions@bacart.org.

Please include the following information:

  • Full name

  • Phone number

  • City and state of residence

  • 3–5 examples of your art. Please include dimensions, media, and prices. You may link to your website/online portfolio or attach images as JPGs or PNGs.

  • In your email, please share a brief synopsis of your artistic career so we can learn more about you, including your education and experience. 

We jury new artists four times a year. We look forward to reviewing your work and will follow up about any retail and/or exhibition opportunities.
